Post 4 - Mid Point Reflection

The primary mission or purpose is to give free education to kids. I was expecting that I will do art and drawings and my job is to make drawings and use creativity in making word walls. I thought that I will get internship in art gallery but I got my internship in school. In Brooklyn school of Inquiry teachers take students with them in cafeteria and in classes but in IHSL teachers don't take students with them. We are responsible for everything. I learned that how to be polite with kids and how we have to behave with them. And I also learned that how to take more responsibilities. They are nice to me and helpful. Whenever I need help they helped me.I learned that we have to be more responsible in everything and we have to finish our work on time. We should not depend on other people. I have got good communication skills in my internship because I always try to speak with kids and try to be friendly with them. By speaking more English, my English has been improved. Before I don't know how to deal with kids but now I know how to deal with kids and how I have to behave with them. My internship schedule affected my class and grades but I always go for tutoring in before and after school to finish my homework that I cant finish at home. I have five weeks of internship left and I want to learn how to be more nice with kids and I hope to learn how to deal with kids. The things I learned about New York City is that how teachers treat kids and how they teach kids new things. I also learned that we have to become more responsible and mature.
